Behavior Tracking System

When I saw this back in March, I knew I had to have it for my class room this school year! I did make some changes to mine, although I appreciate the concept that Fairy Dust Teaching desired it to be. See this link:

I copied it onto brown paper, laminated and cut out, then glued to popsicle sticks. Our school has decided to use the fruit of the Spirit as a way to encourage good behavior, so instead of the words that Fairy Dust Teaching used, I used:love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,gentleness and self control- They all kinds tie in together anyhow. And then I made a SAFE pocket. Real Simple- If the children are using good choices-Fruit of the Spirit Choices, then they will remain in their pocket. But if they are not practicing fruit of the Spirit behavior- they will move to the Safe pocket. They are always able to earn back their pocket. This will teach them that they need to have good behavior without the negativity of me writing their mom a note or putting them on red. I will let you know how it works;)
